Frequently Asked Questions's

What is car detailing?

Car detailing, these days, generally refers to "the processes and stages of meticulous cleaning, restoring, and finishing involves on an automotive vehicle, both inside and out, to produce a show-quality level of detail and final result" using products and tools that go above and beyond your standard, everyday, washing & vacuuming of the car.

Why should I have my car professionally detailed?

Retain reseller value, ensure that your vehicle is thoroughly cleaned inside and out to a professional standard, provide basic maintenance packages for after care, provide show quality results for any make or model vehicle, ensures that the methods and equipment used on your vehicle are of a high standard and not detramental to the finished result.

Doesn't an automatic car wash do the same thing?

No! It is highly recommended NOT to use an automatic car wash, as it can ruin and damage the paintwork, trims, and other surfaces on your vehicle. The primary cause of this is due to the chemicals and products they use in these processes as they are lower grade and can strip existing protective products off your car, and/or further erode not only the products and coatings already on the car, but potentially your seals and trims as well.

What is involved when you have your car detailed?

Most people believe that car detailing is just an extended process of washing your car.. however that is only one part of the process. There are a number of stages involved depending on the package you purchase, but it can involve the following:

  • Snow foaming
  • Decontamination
  • Paint analysis
  • Polishing
  • Compounding/Paint Protection
  • Engine clean
  • Dressing of Wheels & Arches
  • Glass Protection
  • Interior detailing
  • Vinyl & Fabric Protection
  • Leather conditioning
